Evelina Martynenko

Origin: Okhtyrka, Ukraine

Current Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

For Evelina Martynenko, a contemporary painter from Okhtyrka, art has been as vital as breathing since childhood. Growing up as the daughter of Nataliia Martynenko—a master of traditional Petrykivka and stained-glass painting—and a Ukrainian serviceman, Evelina was raised in an environment surrounded by canvases, creative inspiration, and deep patriotism.

In 2022, Evelina took her creative journey to France, studying at the Lycée Marie Curie in Sceaux, just outside Paris. During her time there, she gained recognition by selling her hand-painted replicas of Michelangelo’s masterpieces from the Sistine Chapel.

Today, she is based in Kyiv, pursuing a degree in Fine Arts (Painting) at the prestigious Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design. She actively participates in the contemporary art scene, showcasing her work at prominent venues such as the Imagine Point gallery. An award-winning artist, Evelina’s works have earned top honors in numerous international art competitions.
