Yuliia Ustymenko

Origin: Poltava, Ukraine

Yuliia Ustymenko is an accomplished Ukrainian artist and architect whose career seamlessly bridges structural design and fine art. She began her formal training at the Faculty of Architecture at the Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava National Technical University and later attended the Kharkiv State Technical University of Construction and Architecture (KhISI), where she earned her degree in Architectural Design in 2011.

After working for two years in an architectural firm, Yuliia chose to dedicate herself entirely to the applied and decorative arts. Specializing in sculptural relief molding and monumental wall painting, she has built a distinguished career with over 20 years of hands-on experience in transforming architectural spaces.

Driven by continuous experimentation with diverse techniques and mediums, Yuliia has developed a highly versatile and signature artistic voice. Her creative approach is defined by meticulously clean execution, a profound respect for her raw materials, and an unwavering commitment to detail.

During the full-scale war, Yulia worked in Poland as part of a team of muralists, joining Netflix and Prime Video projects, and later moved to Scotland, where she currently lives and works.

Her works are presented in galleries in Scotland, especially Edinburgh, as well as in private collections in Europe.

In her work, Yulia combines architecture, nature and feelings, transforming matter into a language spoken by the soul.
